In 1958 they introduced for the first time in the city Shawarma meat sandwiches and plates with Lebanese spices followed in 1959 with Chicken Shawarma.
The unique taste of Soufi's recipes helped the business to grow into several branches in the city and made the name exist until today as one of the most prominent Lebanese fast food restaurants in the country.
